HELLO! I'M J.D. –– the woman behind THE DIGITAL LUXE LIFE!

I have two decades of entrepreneurial experience that shaped my resilience and determination. From overcoming setbacks to building a successful branding agency, I've navigated entreprenuership's highs and lows.

In 2012, I took a leap of faith and launched my first branding agency, quickly growing it to 20 clients. Yet, burnout led me back to freelance work and the corporate grind in a 9 -5 job as a Communications Advisor in corporate branding.

In August 2018, a breakthrough moment led to the relaunch of my Melbourne-based agency, but the 2020 pandemic forced a digital pivot.

I went all in within the online coaching industry and positioned myself as an authority in the branding niche and quickly gained recognition in the media.

Later, I diversified into an Etsy store in April 2023 and now, I empower women globally through my faceless brand, offering MRR courses and digital products to help them create multiple passive income streams.

WHERE IT ALL BEGAN...

OUR STORY

19 years ago, I bravely ventured into entrepreneurship, only to face setbacks and failure. But from that failure, I learned to bounce back and built my resilience. After returning to corporate life, I excelled in marketing, but I felt stifled by the lack of creative freedom.

In 2012, I took a leap of faith and launched my own branding agency, quickly gaining success going from 0 to 20 clients in 6 months. However, I felt overwhelmed by its demands, leading to burnout.

Scaling back to freelance work, I turned my agency into a "side hustle" and returned to the 9-5 corporate life, specializing in corporate branding and communications.

In August 2018, I hit a breaking point and had a breakdown that led to a breakthrough. By September, I resigned from my corporate job, relaunched my agency, and secured four clients straight out the gate.

However, the pandemic in 2020 brought unforeseen challenges as I lost all my local clients overnight. That's when I transitioned to the digital space and relaunched a digital agency, emerging as a brand expert within the online coaching industry.

Although I worked with clients worldwide, my self-doubts held me back, and I played small. While consistently being inconsistent with showing up online, I struggled to grow and scale.

Nevertheless, I continued to push forward and eventually established myself as a Brand Strategist and Designer with features in the media and speaking engagements at online events.

After becoming known for my brand designs, I decided to diversify my income and launched an Etsy store in March/April 2024.

But it wasn't until April 2024, after watching a UBC webinar where I felt inspired to start selling MRR courses through a faceless brand.

The next day, I launched the Digital Luxe Life on Instagram, with a mission to empower women to build passive income streams, with or without showing their faces.
